I have an appointment to go back on my 35th week to be tested for Strep B and according to what the results are, we&#39;ll figure out how to be treated. If I&#39;m positive and go into labor before 37 weeks, I&#39;ll end up going to the hospital. If I&#39;m positive and go into labor anytime after 37 weeks, they have IV antibiotics that they administer at the birth center...so I can still have my water-birth. Are they equipped to treat you with IV antibiotics during labor if you were to test positive for Strep B in a few weeks or would they transfer you to the hospital? Just wondering because I don&#39;t know anything about birthing centers.
